Join us in our cellar door for a guided tasting through our three collections of wines, Mitchell, Kinsfolk and McNicol.
Relax in our tranquil cellar door garden or inside by the fire with a cheese board and a glass of wine, to learn about our history and sustainable practices with a guided tasting at our 1890’s cellar door, situated in Clare Valley, South Australia, one and half hours’ drive north of Adelaide.
Cellar door is open seven days from 11.00am until 5.00pm. Family and dog friendly. $10 tasting fee which is waived on purchase of any cellar door wine.
The Mitchell Collection
Led by generations of passionate wine enthusiasts, the Mitchell collection combines past processes with modern methods to create wines that showcase intense varietal fruit flavour and definitive regional character.Â
The Kinsfolk Collection
Kinsfolk represents the Mitchell family, past and present. The collection is made up of small batch, individual wines that express single vineyard characteristics. It won't take long to discover that each has a distinct personality – much like the members of the Mitchell clan.
The McNicol Collection
A 230-year-old family tradition, McNicol is a family name that dates back to the era of Ann McNicol, who married into the Mitchell family in 1782. The family has adopted ‘McNicol’ as a middle name for generations of Mitchell children since, representing strength, resilience, respect and quality.
